When she noticed she goes "UGH!! MOOOOOM!!! LOOK!! He made a MESS!" She then proceeded to look at Toffee, hanging ever so innocently on the front door...tape in one hand...streamers in the other....stuck to the door wrapped in streamers like a mummy...she said to him. "You, made a mess Toffee and YOU are going to clean it up NOT MOMMY! Bad bad Toffee!"
Priceless.
Later with the opening and closing of the front door, he fell off and landed in a heap next to the chair there by the door, he looked like he was snoozing. So we made sure no one touched him as he snuggled with the roll of tape still.
Tonight he decided to draw on the photo frames and put mustaches on everyone.
Not a big deal, right?

Naughty elf can't read apparently...
He got the dry erase marker confused with an identical marker that was actually a PERMANEANT marker. Sooo that sucked. Talk about a fun mess to scrub off of multiple photo frames!
So he was going to steal some of their clean laundry...didn't work he almost woke them up instead.
So he decided to skidaddle into the dining room tonight where he sat up a lovely little garland swing set above the buffet.
Tomorrow's plan will be very very fun. Haha can't wait to see the look on the kids faces when they see what he does tomorrow night.
Kind of fun this whole elf on the shelf thing, even if our elf isn't a REAL "official" elf on the shelf. He's unique. We're the only people I KNOW with an honorary reindeer elf. Though I have a friend who has a couple of naughty monkey's around her house that are always up to something every night. I also know of a snowman that pranks the kids at his house. So not only elves get to have all the fun!
Maybe I will eventually get one of the actual "Elf on a Shelf" dolls, but as of right now? I'm happy with our reindeer named Toffee.
